  • In the year 1587 the English privateer Francis Drake looted the city of Cádiz and made off with a booty of more than 500 bota wineskins of sherry.
    Drawn by the growth and importance of sherry consumption, Thomas Osborne settled in Puerto de Santa María in 1772 to export this wine from Jerez to the British Isles. The Osborne company, with nearly 250 years to its name, is one of the oldest firms in the world and one of the most deeply rooted in the Spanish food culture tradition.
  • Osborne has created a series of outstanding restaurants which has culminated now in this latest opening, Zahara de Osborne. Classic cuisine which looks to the south, to the memory of the tastes of Cádiz: fried baby fish, Almadraba tuna, Retinto beef and the best sherry from Jerez.
  • Three spaces with different proposals, including an outdoor terrace on Plaza de Santa Ana where you can enjoy the best of Cádiz fine dining.

Hemos vuelto por el grato recuerdo que nos quedó tanto del local como del personal tan agradable y eficaz. Nos gustó el lomito de corvina, el salmorejo y repetimos las croquetas y la tortillita de camarones. Hay un menú más econonómico que lo hace asequible a todos los bolsillos. La frescura, novedad y calidad que el local proporciona a la plaza hace que queramos volver.

Hoy fui con un compañero de trabajo y esta vez comimos dentro, con un ambiente muy relajado. Tuve una grata sorpresa al encontrarme con un menu del día que estaba muy bien de precio (12,90) con raciones generosas, así que para comidas de trabajo entre semana es muy recommendable!
